Lori McKenna won the coveted Album Of The Year award for her album “Unglamorous” this weekend at the Boston Music Awards in, you guessed it, Boston, MA. While accepting her award, she joked that her family might finally believe she has a real job now.

Just another day at WBR’s Burbank "ski lodge" home office. Oh wait, no it was an UNglamorous day! We had the genuine, sweet, hilarious, wonderfully talented LORI MCKENNA at WBR Burbank today doing a full day of press behind her August 14th release, "Unglamorous." As always, Lori never fails to impress. We miss you already Lori!

Oh, and that guy next to her is Dierks Bentley who rushed into her dressing room to get a photo before she performed! He and his wife are big fans.
Has a publicist ever killed an artist? Not even close, but Brian hit a parked car while on a press trip with Lori Mckenna in support of her fantastic and brilliant new record, Unglamorous, being released August 14. Lori had just finished performing at a radio station (see attached photo) and was en route to an interview when the accident happened. Fortunately Bumbery was sober, and he and the artist were both wearing underwear, (Well, that's Brian's story).....

The lovely and talented Lori McKenna set out last week on tour with Tim and Faith, on their Soul2Soul Tour. I haven't been able to make it yet to see her live on this tour, but she has already been charming up to 15,000 peeps per night....Her record comes out August 14 and I'm so excited about it...
